Wholesale Business Development Manager

CALCAP is seeking experienced mortgage producers with established broker relationships to support the growth of its wholesale lending channel. Candidates should have superior sales, negotiation, client relationship management skills; and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, environment.

Location

Irvine, California; Other locations including San Diego County, Los Angeles County, Northern California considered based upon book of business and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit mortgage brokers to establish ongoing business opportunities in the form of private money lending transactions.
  • Source new business from existing third party relationships that may be assigned.
  • Communicate, train, and provide support to customers to ensure loans follow CALCAP’s loan process and meet CALCAP lending guidelines; manage expectations.
  • Filtering loan scenarios and determining structure and/or terms that would meet CALCAP mortgage products, programs, and pricing criteria.
  • Stay current of industry knowledge along with market trends and conditions, regulatory issues and improve overall professionalism through continuing education.
  • Represent CALCAP in the mortgage industry through conference attendance and continuing education.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in residential lending with an emphasis in managing wholesale relationships DRE License with NMLS (preferred)

  • Strong computer skills; experience in Encompass preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Working Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30 PM

Secondary Marketing Analyst

Seeking a Secondary Marketing Analyst for a fast-paced and growing private money lender based in Southern California.

Job Description

This position will be responsible for coordinating secondary marketing activities encompassing loan pricing, coordination of loan funding, investor delivery, and the effective management of secondary market investor relationships. Additionally, the position requires an ability to develop programs that can further expand CALCAP’s product menu. Conducting servicing portfolio analytics including loan performance and reporting to executive management are part of the responsibilities in this position.

This leadership role serves as a consistent resource to both production and operations staff in providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. In addition, the Director of Capital Markets may be called upon to serve as a representative for CALCAP Lending, LLC throughout the industry via various leadership roles in conferences and the related industry or customer-facing events occurring throughout the nation.

Sales Associate

CALCAP Lending, LLC is seeking bright, energetic, outgoing, and HIGH energy Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will deliver unparalleled service to our clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Make/Receive 150 + calls per day to a wide variety of real estate professionals, including real estate investors, mortgage brokers/bankers, and residential/commercial real estate brokers.
  • (25) New Lead Generation Research Google, LinkedIn, and Listing Agents.
  • Help with referrals from Business Development Managers accounts base.
  • Present the CALCAP value proposition and assess opportunity on each call.
  • Support BDM with individual marketing campaigns to generate new lead opportunities.
  • Capture customer information for the CALCAP database (Infusionsoft).
  • Transfer "warm" leads to the Business Development Manager.
  • Capture initial loan date for the Business Development Manager to structure loans to CALCAP Product and Pricing matrices.
  • Learn and apply LOS platform and CRM requirements to help support the Business Development Manager.
  • Help Business Development Manager with Competitor Analysis and Product overview.
  • Continue Educational Product, LeadGen and Sales Training.

Compensation

Senior Loan Processor

The successful candidate for this position will be ambitious, personable and capable of delivering exceptional results. The Loan Processor must possess exceptional logical, reasoning and judgment capabilities combined with a very team-oriented and customer-centric approach to daily activities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensures the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by Business Development Managers.
  • Acts as the sole point of contact to the customer after the loan application has been accepted and completed by the Business Development Manager.
  • Gathers loan application supporting documentation as required to expedite the business purpose loan from initial intake to closing.
  • Orders property appraisals, organize and assess flood and tax certificates, credit reports and title insurance.
  • Coordinates transaction via regular communication with sellers, clients, escrow agents, title companies and real estate agents to acquire supplementary documentation as required.
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely input of loan information into CALCAP Lending’s system for processing (Encompass).
  • Ensures that all loan documentation is complete accurate verified and complies with company policy.
  • Verifies content of loan documents including income, credit, appraisal and title insurance ultimately preparing an application for submittal to underwriting.
  • Reviews file documentation and validate that all items needed are requested. Validating loan documents will include assessment of income credit and preparation of all anticipated underwriting conditions to enable accelerated approval cycle times consistent with private money lending.
  • Meet the crucial deadlines requested. Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management.

  • Proficiency in making use of loan-related applications and demonstrated proficiency in the use of the CALCAP’s loan origination system (Encompass).
